Deployment follow-up: distribution of trackers by state

When trackers are added to an organization, they are in the state Ready for use.

Once the organization starts using the trackers they are going to the Online state.

By following up the number of trackers and the timing of the change of the state of the trackers from Ready for use to Online the roll-out in the field can be monitored. If trackers are stayed for a long time period in the Ready for use state, even if they are available on the customer site, it can mean they have some issues with the deployment. It is a good idea to contact your customer to see if you can help them out with the roll-out.

Also follow-up the trackers with an Offline status as this might point to an issue once the customer started to activate the trackers. The foreseen behavior is that after starting the trackers go to Online.

Go to Admin → Trackers and sensors → Diagnostic to follow-up the state of the trackers of an organization.
