TRACK 1210 cable wiring

Information on the cable wiring of the TRACK 1210

External power source - cable wiring

The cable provided with TRACK 1210 has a length of 2 meters. The cable allows connecting the TRACK 1210 to a power source of a vehicle (car / truck / trailer battery).

A cable of 6 meters can be bought separately.

The power source must be within the range of 10V to 30V, direct current (DC).

Be aware that you need to supply your own connectors (U-schaped or circular clamps) and solder them to the wires (reason: different vehicles batteries have different sizes of connectors). Protect the soldering using heat shrink.

The external cable is composed of 4 internal wires:

Black: GND / Ground. Connect to black battery terminal (negative, minus sign).
Red: VIN External voltage in. Connect to red battery terminal (positive, plus sign).
White: Digital In / Analog In (not in use currently; pending a future firmware release at unknown date).
Blue: Digital Out. (not in use currently; pending a future firmware release at unknown date).
