How to create a secondary device ID

To activate the secondary device ID (and remove the primary Sensolus serial from the UI), following steps should be taken:

1. Ask Sensolus support to activate the feature key 'whitelabel_identifiers' (white label pack) to your partner organization and the organizations you want to use the secondary device ID for.
2. Tell Sensolus support which labels they should give to the ID fields the organizations will see:
   1. name for the secondary serial label: name seen by organizations (original Sensolus serial is for example CWHXDA → instance
   2. name for the secondary product label:label seen by organizations (original Sensolus product ID is for example TRACK-1200) → type
   These names will be displayed as a label for the secondary device ID in status view, filter and table column header.

From that moment on the secondary name field has been renamed to secondary serial. This better reflects the meaning, it is an edit once, unique identifier field that replaces the serial in whitelabel mode.

This field can be edited by partners only, not by normal organizations.
